I spent the evening after work tonight listening to Arlo Guthrie.

Kulning is, as Jason Kottke describes, hauntingly beautiful.

So many good TV shows to watch and not time to watch them.

I totally think that Microsoft should bring back Windows Mobile and work with OEMs on creating phones again.

I just charged up my Nokia 530 from 6 years ago and the interface is still better than the grid of apps I have on my iPhone 6S.

Just out of curiosity.

Does anyone know of a Mb client for Windows? Or an app that is compatible with mirco.blog?

Backed. Analog

although I believe Ugmonk shouldn’t use Kickstarter as a preorder service.

I pulled my Pixel 2 out of the pile of old phones I have to see how it stacks up to my Pixel 4. Currently on the 4th security update install of the evening.

I don’t have time to troubleshoot tonight though.

LIstened to the new Phoebe Bridges album Punisher and it is mellow and heartfelt. Definitely something I will listen to again. 🎵

Don’t forget about the Microsoft Surface Duo in all the Apple hoopla.

Now that iOS has widgets on the home screen I have one question about Springboard.

Why does iOS require an app to have an icon on the home screen in the first place?

You can search for any app through search. What is the operational need to have an icon on the home screen?

Not bad, California. Not bad at all.

Reality Test

Calls for defunding the police (which is often the majority of a city budget) are to give that money to the public schools and fire department and social services.

Suggesting otherwise is disingenuous at best.
