One of my favorite photos that I’ve taken this week in Yosemite.

Never put your own money in the show.
Yosemite Valley is beautiful; especially from Glacier Point looking down.
The Merced river snakes through the valley.

There are dramatic views all through Yosemite National Park. At Tunnel View you see El Capitan on the left, Half Dome peaking out, and Bridalvail Fails on the right.
At Cloud’s Rest you get a completely different view of Half Dome.

The entrance to Yosemite Valley is one of my favorite landscapes.

I have been in Yosemite this week. We were able to go to Sunday morning brunch at the Ahwahnee Hotel and spend some time in the valley after. I took this photo of the chapel and with some light editing think it looks fantastic.

Throwback Tuesday to the time I visited the Taj Mahal on a wonderfully hot Indian day.

I don’t understand how you can have a running topic of home screens when the home screen is just a grid of icons
I am always fascinated at the spreads that Jose Naranja makes in his notebooks.
Truly amazing work.
I wish I could tell every phone reviewer that phones will be released even if the giant trade show, Mobile World Congress, where they are normally announced, is cancelled.
Tonight I watched a trailer for a TV show that made me think that I might like the book the show is based on. It is onl $5.99 on Kindle. As I hoovered over the Buy button, I remembered that I don’t like historical fiction. Exciting Thursday night.
I enjoy the hell out of the bass line of Lana Del Rey’s High By The Beach.
Still fascinated that I listen to and enjoy today’s Pop music.
I hated and derided Pop music in the 80’s and 90’s.
Don’t get me started on mumble rap and auto tuned hip hop though.
In 7 New Smart Phone Trends Om Malik forgets that 4G was just as bad when it was rolled out as 5G is now.
5G Phones. This is a bit like putting the cart before the horse. The networks are pretty non-existent.
Remember Wimax? HSPA+? EV-DO? Neither do Sprint, T-Mobile, or Verizon.
All were stopgaps to 4G. Except Wimax, that was actually 4G … just not LTE.
You will never catch up.
Find your footing and do your work.
You can never know everything. Just do the best you can with what you have.
I do not read all of the links in Maria Popova’s Brain Pickings postings.
Yet.
I might get there one day. In the future.
In Passing by Lisel Mueller is a lovely poem. I think I would like to find a way to get that on my wall.
Your random reminder to talk to someone about how you are feeling.
Do not hold it in and let it stew.
Share your troubles with the people who care about you.
This way they can show you how they care about you.
This bedside table is fantastic. I love the carvings.

I love the look of the cabinet hardware in this kitchen. But, I’m not sure if I’m ready to spend $100 for handles on my $80 IKEA MALM dressers.
