Just saw an add for American Airlines & British Airways for flights to Barcelona and I feel personally attacked. I don’t think I’ve ever searched for flights there but I’ve always wanted to go.

I do not understand the blow back from tech pundits about the Samsung Galaxy Fold and Motorola Razor. Of course these products are beta products: They feature foldable screens.

If every company was as closed mouth as Apple then nobody would know what might be possible.

While watcing Great American Baking Show a promo for casting comes on.

Me: Do you want to apply?

My Girlfriend: Oh, NO!

We’re not a household that bakes.

\Why does everyone seem to thing that technology will help support their cause and not the other cause?

Why do websites still put in page breaks in their long review articles? Stop it. Let us scroll. Put in links at the top to skip sections but don’t make us go to the next page. You’re not a book, Your a website.

Tron: Legacy still has a great soundtrack.

Personal Dicotomy:
In the morning I just want to relax and not stress.
In the evening I want to get things done the next morning.

Lazy always wins.
So, my mornings are spent on the couch with RSS and music videos.
And guilt about not getting stuff done.

Josh Ginter asks about The Last Jedi:

But seriously, what were they thinking with that Canto Bight story arc?

Poe couldn’t grow as a commander if he didn’t have a pointless mission that endangered everyone under his leadership. Fin and Rose couldn’t become closer without danger.

Somewhere some book on how to write a story said growth comes from conflict and they made conflict up that did nothing about the main storyline because ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Anything you want to accomplish in life has to manifest as an actual activity.

Really?

Going to be a productivity guru.

Step 1: If you’re not happy then make a change. Step 2: Do the change. Step 3: Check what you changed to see if it works. Step 4: Review the change; did it work keep doing it, if not start step 1 again.

Every productivity guru sells you the P.D.C.A plan, even if they say they don’t.

We saw Star Wars the Rise of Skywalker today. I enjoyed the movie. I think they wrapped up the story pretty well with this last installment. There were parts that were over played but what do you expect from a Star Wars movie?

I declare today ‘Stub my Toe Day’

I have hit my right pinky toe on no less than 4 different surfaces this morning.

I have been awake for 45 minutes.

My most productive time is the late afternoon. Unfortunately, that’s also when I’m working. Which is both good and bad. I’m most productive at work when the focus is on productivity. But, that leaves my personal productivity in the pits.

Whoa, just looked thorugh my email and I’ve been sitting on Email Lessons since May/June. Pretty sure that’s worse than procrastination.

Trying Spotify

I’m going to give Spotify a try as a music streaming service this year.

I have played with Spotify a few times over the years and it never stuck with me. I signed up for Google Play Music when it was announced and have used and enjoy the service.

A great benefit of subscribing to Google Play Music is that I don’t get ads on YouTube with the subscription. I’ll continue my subscription to Play Music just for no ads on YouTube while I try Spotify.
