Can someone tell me why Apple pundits are mad at Apple for trying not to piss off China? Just because Apple is pro privacy and an American company doesn’t mean that Apple has to promote “American Values” while doing buisness in China. It means that Apple needs to keep doing buisness in China to make money in China.
Seems to me that Apple wouldn’t be in the middle of a dust up about HKmaps if they were clear and transparant about their app review process.
Why do business in China if this is the type of shit they pull?
Because they have 1 billion people who might buy your product? And that money is worth dealing with the Chinese regime.

Saw this pair of ravens on the top of a street light while grocery shopping the other day. They seemed to be having a good time hanging out and surveying the parking lot.

Taking this day of rest to enjoy the wonderful Sunday brunch at the Awanhee hotel in Yosemite National Park and watching the excellent 1995 romantic comedy While You Were Sleeping.
I am thankful that I can enjoy these things on this day.
