No Idea

Is there a best way to create a static blog stored on AWS? I’d be using ChromeOS and Windows maily. Would a Wordpress instance be the best idea? Or just some good ol fashion text files?

All I’ve done today is nap, make food, and watch TV. That is a successful Sunday in my book.

Does it mean I’m too old to listen to pop music if I am tired of hearing auto tuned “singers”?

At least that is what it looks like to me; today.

I really should blog about my trip to India. Or at least write it up and share some photos. Because there were so many photos. Even I got tired of taking pictures and I never get tired of taking pictures. But, You’ll have that when you go somewhere you’ve never been before.

Today I’m setting up my analog task manager for September since I took July/August off and felt like I was missing something the whole time.

The new The Predator movie looks good to me. This trailer had me yelling, “What?” at the TV a few times. Which might not be a good thing but, it is entertaining.

The Royals are just pounding Fulmer today. It’s nice to see but, much, much, much too late in the season. ⚾️

I just can’t keep up with the amount of insane stuff that comes out of Drumpf’s twitter feed.

I can’t believe that we elected this thing into the position of power that we elected him to.

It seems like every day, every single day, he is tweeting something that is so wildly outside of the normal that it defies explanation.

Then you add in the corruption and crimes of his leadership team and the future seems so bleak.

It just looks like Drumpf is laying waste to American leadership for no reason at all.

I’m sorry, I can not believe that this man-baby has it in him to want to become a dictator or fascist leader. He just doesn’t seem like he wants to be in the leadership role he’s in. He seems like he wants to be seen leading but, not actually leading.

He wants to play president and not be president.

It is extremely disheartening that we are at this point.

It’s like Steam can read my mind because I just finished Far Cry 4 and now Far Cry 5 is 30% off. I was going to wait until the summer sale but ¯_(ツ)_/¯

iZombie is a weird show. Zombies that look and act like people because they eat brains. I’m not sure about this one.

So, it looks like the concenus is that tech pundits want a Twitter service without the Twitter part, do I have that right?

This morning is a Taylor Swift music video marathon and mainlining coffee type of morning.

Today’s waking political thought was: I wonder if someone has put together a list of Obama regulations that Trump has rescinded and what the effects of that have been.

I just saw a Verge YouTube video that ended with the commentator complaining that Microsoft was promoting Edge, Biong, and Cortana too much in Windows. I have one question: What else do you expect them to promote in their software?

Should Microsoft be promoting competing products in Windows? “Hey, we make this browser, Edge, but you should go download Firefox instead.” or “Everybody searches the web but, you shouldn’t use Bing: you should use AskJeeves.” or “Our voice assisstant Cortana is really good but, Alexa is different so use that instead.”

Seriously? Do you expect any company to not promote their own products over other companies products?

Past Self thinks that Future Self will want to accomplish stuff so makes plans to Get Things Done but Present Self doesn’t want to do anything so makes plans for Future Self to Get Things Done.

As a consequence things hardly ever get done, just passed down the line. Past Self feels good for scheduling Things, Future Self thinks ‘Today will be the day", and Present Self just feels lazy all the time.

I need more coffee.

I am fascinated by the saga of the AirPower mat and how all of the Apple pundits are upset that it will be longer than a year since it was introduced and it hasn’t shipped yet.

They are mad that Apple told them about an accessory that hasn’t shipped.

I always forget how beautiful Yosemite National Park is and then I scroll through my photos and remember the grandeur that is there. It is an amazing place to visit.
