Anyone should be able to easily explore, research and play classic video games, in the same way that they can read classic novels, listen to classic albums, and watch classic movies. But outdated copyright laws are preventing institutions like ours from doing our jobs.

Does Kelsey Lewin really believe that all classic novels, classic albums, and classic movies are preserved and available? That human civilization has saved everything?

The olds are realizing that the adage “everything will be on the internet forever” isn’t true.

Life is not permanent. Objects are not permanent. The internet is not permanent.
